Inspired Closets
Lookbook Experience
Project Overview
Inspired Closets specializes in creating highly personalized organization solutions designed around each customer's unique needs. Because the purchasing process involves significant collaboration and decision-making, designers needed a tool that could inspire customers and help them visualize what was possible during in-home consultations.
I designed a premium lookbook experience that served as both a brand touchpoint and a sales enablement tool, helping designers guide conversations around styles, materials, and possibilities while creating a memorable customer experience.
The Opportunity
The in-home consultation is a critical moment in the Inspired Closets customer journey. Customers are not simply selecting storage solutions. They are imagining how their daily lives could improve through a redesigned space. The opportunity was to create a physical experience that could:
Inspire customers
Communicate craftsmanship and quality
Showcase design possibilities
Support designer-led conversations
Build confidence before purchase
My Role
I led the design and production of the Inspired Closets Lookbook experience, partnering with internal teams and print vendors to bring the concept from design through final production.
My responsibilities included:
Creative direction
Editorial design
Layout design
Visual storytelling
Material selection
Packaging experience
Print production
Quality control
Press checks
Designing the Experience
The goal was to create more than a printed piece. Every interaction was designed to reinforce the premium Inspired Closets experience. The final presentation included:
A soft-touch presentation box
A curated lookbook
Reticulate material swatch cards to represent TFL colors and texture
High-quality photography and design inspiration
The combination of visual storytelling and tactile materials allowed customers to explore possibilities beyond a digital screen.
Supporting the Designer-Customer Relationship
The lookbook was designed around the consultation experience. During an in-home visit, designers could use the lookbook to:
Introduce design styles
Discuss material options
Guide customer preferences
Create excitement around possibilities
Build trust through a collaborative process
The experience supported Inspired Closets' consultative approach by giving designers a tangible tool to guide decision-making.
Production & Execution
Bringing the experience to life required close attention to both design intent and physical execution. I managed production details including:
Print preparation
Material selection
Vendor collaboration
Press checks
Color accuracy
Final quality review
Attending press checks ensured the final printed pieces matched the intended brand experience across every component.
Outcome
The Inspired Closets Lookbook became a premium sales tool that extended the brand experience beyond the showroom and into the customer's home.
By combining thoughtful storytelling, tactile materials, and production craftsmanship, the experience helped designers create stronger connections with customers during one of the most important stages of the buying journey.
